Ian has been a passionate and loyal supporter of Everton in the Community since the 1990’s, aiding the growth of the charity through his philanthropic work. His love for Everton Football Club is matched by his unwavering passion for community development and helping to build better futures for all, regardless of who they are, where they live, or the challenges they face. I look forward to working with Ian for many years to come.

It has been my privilege to know Professor Ian Kilbride for many years, and despite his impressive business achievements, Ian’s commitment to philanthropy has always been an unwavering commitment. The multitude of projects he has created or simply supports, be they one offs or requiring long-term involvement, are too numerous to mention. His abiding passion remains the assistance of anyone from a disadvantaged background, as well as his love for wildlife and the environment.

Ian has been the Chairman of Lord’s Taverners in South Africa since its inception and it has been a pleasure working with him, as the CEO. Together, we have developed programmes to assist disadvantaged and disabled children to enjoy sport, often for the first time in their young lives. He will often go the extra mile financially simply to ensure that as many youngsters as possible benefit and are able to simply have fun.

Professor Kilbride has been a long-term supporter of the Everton Free School and Football College since its inception 12 years ago. Ian’s generosity has enabled the school to build its own library, the ‘Spirit Library’, and this has contributed to us achieving some fantastic outcomes for the students in our care. His ongoing support for our school, as well as many other projects, is testimony to his commitment to tackle all disadvantages suffered by children and young people everywhere.
